NOTD Pink and Blue

I tried my hand at nail art tonight and failed miserably!  So as not to have to go to work with unpainted nails, I brought out the big guns (and my current favourite nail varnishes) and I present to you my Sunday nails!

I used Rimmel's Pop Rose as the base and IsaDora's Graffiti Nails in Spraycan Blue.  I can't explain to you how much I love the brushes on both these polishes.  With the exception of my thumbs, I only need one swipe of them both for a perfectly applied coat.  The only problem I had with the Barry M Instant Nail Effects was that it took longer and I had to be more careful when applying it because it would take 2 to 3 dips into the bottle to do a nail and I'd end up overlapping the polish.  The wide brush that IsaDora's Graffiti Nails has is the business!  I also applied 2 coats of Seche Vite to give a shiny finish.  The IsaDora Graffiti Nails dries to a matte finish.

Up close and personal.  The wide brush ensures a nice, even crackle effect!
