Latest Carmine beauty box - spoilers!

When the latest beauty box from Carmine landed in Lovely Girlie Headquarters, I couldn't wait to see what was in it!  I got one back in November to play with and still use my Cosmetics a la Carte brow ink every day.  One of my pals at work even commented yesterday about how lovely my eyebrows were and I have been ordered to bring the pen into her so she can investigate herself.

Carmine's first beauty box of 2012 is full of goodies to help start off the new year with a bang, so here's what your €15 will get you this month:

I think we need to take a closer look, don't you?  First up is Eldora False Eyelashes.  I've never used false lashes where the middle lashes are longer than the outer corners, so I'm looking forward to seeing how they look on.

Next is Wild Rose 24-hour moisturiser from Korres.  I've used this before and loved it.  It's a grand size to keep in your handbag and smells lovely, just a hint of rose, it won't make you smell like your aunt Mildred.  I'm weird when it comes to products that smell like roses.  Reminds me of back in the day when we were kids and made our own perfume by putting rose petals in water, good times!

Himalayan Bath Salts are next on the list.  I've never in my life had a bath with salts!  Full of minerals, these Himalayan salts will help you detox.  Only thing is, this sachet is 100g and the website where you can buy it from recommends using 800g as the best way to use Himalayan salts.  Maybe 100g is enough for you to know whether to purchase a bigger size in the future.

The last two products are the ones I was most excited about.  There's an Eyeko Fat Eye Stick in the box, I got the shade Satin Taupe and I'm loving it so far (as much as you can love swatching something on the back of your hand) and c'mere, it's €11 online, so that's a nice find in the box.  I'll be using it in a tutorial soon so stay tuned.

Last but not least is the Radiance Face Oil from Balance Me.  I'm all about oils for the face and this is a great way of trying one out without committing to buying one full size.

Carmine have set up a points system whereby if you refer a subscriber, you get 25 points and when your account reaches 50 points, your next box is free.  Full details are here.

  1. I still haven't signed up for any of these boxes because, tbh, I have enough beauty products piling up but I do think the Carmine boxes seem like the best of the bunch.

    1. I hear ya girls, I've so much stuff and yet I can't stop wanting to try more!

  2. Reeeeeeally liking the look of that Eyeko Fat Eye Stick even though my eyes aren't even that fat.

  3. I have been debating about signing up ... I do have a lot of make up to use (understatement of the decade ) but I love the idea of trying new brands

    1. Same and same. I think it's a good way of trying 5 new products without committing to full size but it can be hit and miss too

  5. Now that I finally received mine I could finally read your own review :)
We got the same, except my Eyeko pencil was in Petrol Blue. Carmine never disappoints.
