Revlon Lip Butter - Macaroon photos and swatches

When the Revlon Lip Butters were finally launched in Ireland we all went doolally for them didn't we?  I picked up Peach Parfait and had my eye on a couple more but was very restrained.  Up until our visit to Belfast on Monday.  I saw a couple of shades I hadn't seen in my chemist, so picked up just one in the shade Macaroon.

Whereas Peach Parfait was peachy with lots of shimmer running through it, Macaroon is a darker pinky shade with less gold shimmer but enough to make it look nice and glossy.  It's thick, creamy, moisturising and feels lovely on the lips.  It's a shade that's office friendly or can be layered for going out at night.  The gloss fades away after an hour or so leaving a stain on the lips with some of the shimmer.

Am absolutely loving this shade and if you see it, definitely swatch it and fall in The Love.

  1. I pick this up and put it back down again everytime I'm in Boots! Lovely shade, especially for lipstick-phobes like me!

    1. I agree! If I feel it's too strong on me, I pat some of it off with my finger and I'm good to go!

  2. Ooh, that's a lovely shade! Looks quite glittery in the picture but has a lovely shimmer on.

  3. I totally picked this up today because of this post! I'm not a huge fan of the lip butters but I LOVE Pink Truffle and now I Lubb this! :)

  4. One of the colors I would love to have..too bad they don't sell this in the U.S.
