The beauty awards in this month's Image magazine has a fancy stand alone supplement which means you can roll it up, keep it in your bag when you want to do a bit of studying and then whip it out when you're in the shops and are figuring out what to buy.
I've reviewed some of the winners over the past year, so if you pick up the magazine and want to treat yourself to some fabulous *award winning* products, come on back here and see what I thought of them! Also, you can be in with a chance to win over €3,500 in products and all the details are in the magazine. If you win, you'd better give me something, ok?
Best Styling Tool? The Babyliss Big Hair of course!
My love for this is eternal and there isn't a more fitting winner for this category. But now, tell me this, will the new Perfect Curl from Babyliss knock this off the top spot next year?
Best nail polish remover? Bourjois Magic Nail Polish Remover
While it takes a few seconds longer than the advertised 1 second, this polish remover set the nail polish lovers' hearts alight last year. It's brilliant but don't even try to take glitter polish off with it or you'll wreck it.
Best for oily skin? Vichy 3-in-1 Cleanser!
I was like a proud mama when I saw this won. One of my all time favourite products that you can read more about here.
Best eyeliners? Rimmel Scandaleyes.
Taking over from last year's winner, Avon SuperShock liners (Seriously, how did I remember that? I can't remember to pay my Imagine bill every month until the last day, but somehow remember things like that), the Rimmel Scandal Eyes liners have been a revelation to moi. Well, these two. I wasn't mad on the brighter colours.
Best Sheer Coverage Foundation? YSL Le Teint Touche Eclat
This was my go to foundation for the winter months and always gave my skin the dewiest of glows. Despite being sheer, it's buildable for more coverage and a gorgeous foundation. If you have oily skin and want to try this, then I'd recommend getting a mattifying primer or a translucent powder to set it or you'll shine bright like a diamond/look like you're in a flop sweat.
And now my friends, I have a list as long as Joanne's hair of things I want to try! Let me know if you get the magazine and what you think of the results!
