Skinician Purifying Cleansing Gel & Toner review

From the experts behind the tanning brand He-Shi comes a new skincare range, Skinician.  The name makes me feel like I'm totally profesh at the whole skincare thing and a clinician of my skin, aka a Skinician.  Anyways, the Skinician range was designed with one thing in mind, to help target specific problems that we have with our skin.

The Skinician range is broken down into four categories, Hydrating and Revitalising, which promises to calm and soothe delicate skin.  Purifying and Mattifying balances sebum production, while improving the tone and texture of oily skin.  Anti-Ageing reduces the appearance of fine lines and improves suppleness of the skin and finally the Body range has goodies to pamper the rest of your skin

I was sent the Purifying Cleansing Gel and Toner to try out recently and it was brilliant to test out products that were suited to my skin type.  The Purifying Cleansing Gel (€20.85) is described as a purifying, refreshing and rebalancing cleansing gel.  It removes excess oil, regulates oil production while refreshing and brightening the skin.  I've been using it twice a day and apply it to dry skin before using a muslin cloth to remove it.  It removes my make up easily which is good as girlfriend doesn't like to have to scrub at her face for ages.  It definitely removes oiliness from my skin without stripping it and combined with the Purifying Toner, my skin feels gorgeous.

The Purifying Toner (€20.85) promises to tone and refine the pores and I can see an improvement in the pores on either side of my schnozz.  I don't use toners that often but I do love how this one makes my skin feel refreshed, clean and ready for make up.

I'm absolutely loving using these products and have my eye on the Purifying Mask next!

The Skinician range is available exclusively in Harvey Nichols now.
