So this year I've decided to ask away and have found some beauties in the process. In London last month, I found myself chatting to the stunning Ambarina from Beauty Passionista and she had the longest lashes I've ever seen on anyone ever! So of course, I asked her what she was wearing and was expecting it to be a highfalootin' one, but no, it was this beaut!
I put the name into my phone for future reference and then picked it up a couple of weeks ago for the very reasonable price of €8.49 in Boots. Doll'd up from the oh-so-affordable-but-I-always-forget-to-look-and-see-what's-new-from-them brand Seventeen. Inside the black and red packaging is an unassuming curved wand comme ca:
Doll'd Up gives me the most wispy, fluttery lashes with plenty of curl, lift and separation. I've found myself reaching for this one for everyday use recently when I want it to look like I'm not wearing makeup, but in fact have lots of it on my visage.
Please excuse the change in light between the before and after shots. It was cloudy when I started and then decided to get sunny, but you're here to look at my lashes! Doll'd Up packs a punch when it comes to adding length to my lashes and the curl stays put for the whole day. No flaking, no smudging and comes off easily with an eye make up remover at the end of the day.
I'm seriously McLovin' Doll'd Up so thanks a million for having amazing lashes that day Ambarina! This has made it's way to my top 5 mascaras and for under a tenner, you can't go wrong.
What else should I be checking out from Seventeen?

The results are amazing! I always forget to look at 17 too, but I've always been impressed with anything I've ever tried from them. Must give this a go! ;) xx
ReplyDeleteOh wow this mascara looks amazing! I almost picked it up yesterday in Boots, but I'd not read any reviews on it so I didn't, now I'm regretting that decision!

I have been using this for months and I love it. I bought it on offer because it came free when you bought their three dot eyeliner (still cant use it right!). The wand makes application very easy and it is somewhat buildable in comparison to others I have tried. It's on its last legs at this stage so I started cracking open a different mascara but its got such a chunky brush that I get it everywhere bar my eyelashes. Also my eyes are irritable and they havent been upset since I started using this beauty!
ReplyDeleteOther products from 17..... their BB cream I like, spf 25 in it too, has gotten me through the heatwave. And they do a shimmer brick something similar to bobby brown too that I have been loving all summer. I got the pink toned one.
Oooh that's really quite impressive. Don't think I've properly set out to buy any 17 products since I was about 17. must remember this when it's time to renew my mascara :)

The wand reminds me of Max Factor Clump Defy!
