Clinique Lash Power Feathering Mascara review, before & after photos

In the spring, I'm all about appearing fresh faced and wide eyed.  So when the Lash Power Feathering Mascara arrived from Clinique, I knew we were going to get along famously.

The secret is in the name and this mascara gives me the featheriest (it's a word), flutteriest (yep, word) eyelashes that's perfect for a daytime, natural look.

The brush is soft and is packed full of bristles, you know those bristles that comb through your lashes so that nary a clump is seen?  Those bristles.  The formula is on the thinner and dryer end of the scale meaning you can layer as many coats as you like without the fear of spidery, clumpy lashes.

It has fancy schmancy thermal technology that's resistant to tears (good for Joanne's wedding), rain (good for Ireland in general), pool water (if you're wearing makeup on holidays, off you go), ocean water (if you dip your head into Irish sea, then good luck to you), and humidity (you're talking to a perpetual sweaty Betty come summer), so it sounds like it'll take care of this summer nicely.

I use one coat on both upper and lower lashes and generally head back for a second coat on the upper lashes because you know me.  More is more when it comes to eyelashes and it gives me lifted, fanned out, wispy, fluttery lashes that I've been rocking sans eyeshadow happily.

The Lash Power Feathering Mascara is on counters now and will set you back €23.  And I'm seriously considering it for Joanne's wedding because there will be tears.  Happy tears, but tears out of our eyeballs nonetheless!  This is definitely worth checking out if you love wispy, ladylike, dainty, fluttery lashes.

  1. This is a really nice natural mascara!

  2. I really like this one. I mostly look for mascaras that will give me length, volume and curl, but there's something about this one that without adding all of that seems to make my lashes the flirtiest and flutteriest they've ever been - and without migrating at the first sign og humidity like certain other Clinique mascaras have a tendency to do.

  3. That mascara looks really good! I really like the wand & the fact that it doesn't smudge (there is little that doesn't smudge on me!). I am actually looking to try out a new mascara so I think this is going on the shopping list :)

  4. It looks fab, sounds great too x

  5. Loving this mascara, I definitely think it needs two coats nicely layered to get a great lash look!

  6. Sounds like this mascara will survive anything!

  7. Great review - this looks so good on you!xxx
