The Body Shop Colour Crush Shine lipsticks - review, photos, swatches and video!

If you'd seen my face when I opened up the three Colour Crush Shine lipsticks from The Body Shop recently, you would've snorted yourself because I was scared.  Real scared.  I'd never seen any other lipsticks so bright in my life!  Panic set in.  Would I be able to wear them and not just around the house like the scaredy cat I am?

I needn't have worried one little bit because despite their insane brightness in the bullet, they sheer out on the lips something beautiful.  They give the most wonderful wash of colour on the lips and feel like a balm thanks to the Community Fair Trade Marula Oil which nourishes the lips and as someone with perpetual dry lips, this makes for a very happy Karen.

The Body Shop Colour Crush Shine - Shade 15 - Fuchsia Flirt
The Body Shop Colour Crush Shine - Shade14 - Magenta de Rouge
The Body Shop Colour Crush Shine - Shade 18 - Sunset Romance
I filmed a little introductory video on these a couple of weeks ago and since then, I've worn the coral shade, Sunset Romance, shade 18 non stop.  You know I do love me some corals and that shade is the stand out for me because not only can I slap it on at my desk, but it warms up my skin tone, looks natural, glossy and makes me look put together.

These are in stores now and for €12.95, I'll be having a look to see if there are any more coralicious shades!  Now go on and have a squizz at the video below, sure it's only 4 minutes long and you're not doing anything now, are you?  Good child.

Which shade is calling to you?  Do tell!

  1. I had been anxiously awaiting someone to do a review on these! So glad that they're so lovely. I am planning on stopping by The Body Shop tomorrow to pick up a few other things, and I may just throw a few of these in my basket as well.

That last color looks stunning on you!

  2. I never tried the body shop makeup before. I really like the bottom shade the most. I'll have to watch your video before I make up my mind if it gets added to the list of things to try.

  3. I need to go to the body shop and check these bad boys out :) they look like lolly pops
